Yo-yo-yo-semite!

our campsite in wawona campground. notice the river in the background? it's real.

our first view of the valley. the first day was cold and raining/snowing, depending on the elevation, yet it didn't take away from the stunning spectacle that is yosemite valley.

in the distance is bridalveil falls, and in the even further distance is el capitan and half-dome, but the fog made those two behemoths impossible to see. as it was our first time to yosemite, we didn't even know what we were missing. or care, really.

yum.

bridalveil falls. the path leading up to it was basically a river due to water overflow and the mist coming off of it made it feel as though you were in a downpour but, my lord, was it gorgeous.

the base of bridalveil falls. if jarrod looks wet and hungry it's because he is.
